If you access the FTP site from a MS Internet Explorer, you can make the list of files more usable by clicking View, the Details. You can also drag the files from the FTP site to your PC. If the FTP link appears to fail, click 'refresh' on your web browser (F5 in MSIE).
They were generated in Lotus WordPro (included in SmartSuite). There is a ZIP file of the WordPro source documents, as well as a ZIP file of the Acrobat PDF outputs on the FTP server. The formatting of the Acrobat versions is a little off, but this is a stop-gap anyway!
